Tour overview

The Svayambhu (self –born) jyotirlingas of Shiva are highly venerated by the Hindus and many pilgrims make it a point to take a spiritual tour to these Jyotirlingas once in their lifetime. While there are a total of 12 Jyotirlingas throughout India, 3 of them are in Maharashtra only. These include

  • Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga near Pune,Maharashtra
  • Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga in Nasik, Maharashtra
  • Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

Two other Shiva temples in Maharashtra the Parali Vaijanath and Aundha Nagnath are also viewed as a Jyotirlingas though there are some who doubts about these claims.

Nonetheless, in these 4 Nights/5 Days Panch Jyotirlinga and Shirdi Tour, you will be visiting these 5 Jyotirlingas temples and the Sai Baba temple at Shirdi along with a short trip to the Ellora caves.

This pilgrimage tour to the Jyotirlingas and Shirdi can be done with Pune or Mumbai as the point of departure.

Day 01: Pune- Bhimashanker Temple -Nashik

Drive to Bhimashankar after an early lunch. On arrival have darshan (temple timings: 4:30 am-3:15 pm; 4:00 pm-9: pm) and lunch and then proceed to Nashik. Upon arrival hotel check in and time permitting visit Ramkund, Kalaram, Kapaleshwar, Sunder Narayan Mandir, Ram kund, Godavari Ghat .Overnight stay at Nashik.

Day 02: Nashik –Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Darshan-Shirdi (150 kms)

After an early breakfast leave for a darshan of Lord Shiva at Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Darshan (Temple Timings: 5:00am -9:30pm). After darshan drive to Shirdi en-route after Trimbakeshwar visit to Lord Hanumanji Temple of Anjaneri. Upon arrival hotel check in and proceed for Sai baba Darshan. Overnight at hotel in Shirdi.

Day 03: Shirdi- Shani Singhnapur-Grishneshwar Temple-Ellora Caves-Kailasa Temple-Aurangabad (210 kms)

After an early breakfast leave for Shani Singhnapur then quickly proceed to Ghrishneshwar Temple (Temple Timings: 5:30am -9:30pm).Later visit the Kailasa Temple and the Ellora Caves (TUESDAY CLOSED). Transfer to Aurangabad. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: Aurangabad-Aundha Nagnath Jyotirlinga-Parli Vaijnath Jyotirlinga (318 kms)

After an early breakfast leave for Aundha Nagnath Ji Temple Darshan(Temple Timings: 4:00am -9:30pm) post which we will leave for after darshan proceed to Parli Vaijnath for darshan(Temple Timings: 5:00am -9:30pm). Overnight at Parli Hotel.

Day 05: Parli Vaijnath-Pune (353 kms)

Leave for Pune in the early morning after breakfast to board the train or flight from Pune for further journey. Departure should be late evening later than 9 PM.
