Day 1 : Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station. Meet your driver and transfer to Gangtok (4–5 hours). Evening stroll on MG Road and welcome dinner with local Sikkimese dishes.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Full Day)

After breakfast, head out on a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, roughly 40 km and a 2-hour drive away. Situated at an elevation of 3,753 m (12,310 ft), this oval-shaped lake is nearly 50 ft deep and remains snow-covered for much of the year — home to Brahminy ducks and various migratory birds. Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir, a revered pilgrimage site. Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Lachen from Gangtok

After an early breakfast, begin the 135 km, 5–6 hour drive to Lachen, with a lunch stop at Chungthang (96 km from Gangtok). Lachen, 35 km further, is reached by late afternoon or early evening. This remote valley — cradled between towering, snow-capped peaks — is the starting point of the Green Lake Trek and home to the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary. With very few residents, Lachen feels like a hidden Himalayan hamlet. Enjoy a welcome tea on arrival, with the evening free to stroll and visit the local Lepcha village. Overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 4: Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Transfer to Lachung

After an early breakfast, visit Gurudongmar Lake, roughly 55 km and a 3-hour drive away. Situated at an altitude of 11,800 feet, this sacred lake is fed by the Lachen Chu river and remains snow-covered from December to April or longer. The drive passes through a stark, cold desert landscape close to the Tibet-China border. Return for lunch, then continue to Lachung — a region blanketed in Rhododendron forest — roughly 50 km and a 2-hour drive away. In the evening, visit Lachung Monastery. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 5: Sight Seeing at Yumthang & Transfer to Gangtok

After breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley, situated at an elevation of nearly 11,800 feet. En route, stop at a natural hot spring known for its skin-healing properties. Yumthang, nestled along the Lachung Chu river, is famous for its riot of alpine blooms in spring — primulas, rhododendrons, and more — set against a backdrop of snow-covered peaks. Return to Lachung for lunch, then transfer back to Gangtok, arriving in the evening for an overnight stay

Day 6: Gangtok Local Sightseeing (Half Day) & Transfer to Pelling

After breakfast, spend the morning visiting Gangtok's key sights: Enchey Monastery, Banjhakri Falls, Nam Nang View Point, the Ropeway, the Flower Show, the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, the Research Institute of Tibetology, and Do Drul Chorten (Stupa). After lunch, transfer to Pelling — roughly 120 km and a 4.5-hour drive. Situated at 6,800 feet, Pelling offers, on clear days, stunning views of the Himalayan range including Mount Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Kanchenjunga, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, and Sinolchu. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 7: Sight Seeing at Pelling (Full Day)

After breakfast, visit Rimbi Waterfalls, Rimbi Rock Garden, and Kechopalri Lake — one of Sikkim's holiest Buddhist lakes, believed to grant any wish made before it (local legend holds that birds pick up any leaf that falls on its surface, keeping the water perpetually clear). Continue to Kechopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, the New Helipad, Rabdentse Ruins, and the Kanchenjunga View Tower. The evening is free to explore the helipad area or nearby shopping. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 8: Departure– Pelling to NJP/ Bagdogra

After breakfast, transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport, approximately a 5-hour journey.
