Day 1: Arrival at Warangal

Post your arrival at Warangal, check in to hotel and rest. In the evening visit the Shri Bhadrakali Temple and the Khush Mahal before heading for the light and sound show at Warangal Fort. The fort is for the Kakatiyan arch, an ornamental arch that can be seen in the Emblem of Telangana.

Day 2: Warangal City Tour

After breakfast, we will head for the town of Hanamakonda to visit the famous Thousand Pillars Temple also known as the Rudreshwara Swamy Temple . An UNESCO World Heritage Site, the temple located some 150kms from Hyderabad was built during the period between 1175–1324 CE and is dedicated to Lord, Shiva, Vishnu and Sury. The The Thousand Pillar is one of the finest examples of Kakatiya art evident in its architecture, its richly carved pillars, perforated screens, exquisite sculptures ,rock cut elephants and the monolithic Nandi.

Later drive to the artisan village of Pembarthi famed for its exquisite sheet metal art & brass works. Located 80 km from Hyderabad and 64 kms from Warangal the history of this art work can be traced back to more than 800 years.
The art used to receive patronage from the Kakatiyas rulers who used the metals to to adorn chariots and temples. Even the later Nizams of Hyderabad also used to patronised them.Also visit Ramappa Temple and Ramappa lake before heading off to the hotel for dinner and nightcap.

Day 3: Warangal-Nagarjunsagar

After breakfast, we will head Nalgonda visiting along the way -Phanigiri & Gajulabanda - a Buddhist complex famed for its massive Stupa; Suryapet its for the 1000 year Pillala Marri Temple, said to be one of Telangana's oldest temples;
Panagal for the Chaya Someswara Swamy temple and Pachala Someswara temple(both dedicated to Shiva) and finally Buddhavanam- a Buddhist theme park located on the banks of River Krishna at Nagarjuna Sagar. Evening spend some time at Nagarjuna Sagar Dam-the tallest masonry dam in the world.

Day 4: Nagarjunsagar-Hyderabad

In the morning enjoy boating ride to Nagarjunakonda . After lunch head for Hyderabad where we will see the light and sound show at Golconda fort in the evening.

Day 5: Hyderabad City Tour

Full day Hyderabad City tour starting with a visit to the 10th century Bhongir fort followed by a visit to the 2,000 year old Kolanupaka Temple , a Jain Temple housing the idols of Eight Jain Tirthankars. Afternoon, visit Qutub Shahi Tomb ,Golconda fort and Buddha Statue before ending the evening with a boat ride in Hussain Sagar lake and a laser show at Lumbini Gardens.

Day 6: Hyderabad City Tour & Departure

After breakfast, checkout from hotel to cover the remaining leg of our Hyderabad City Tou- the Birla temple, NTR gardens, Salarjung Museum, Char Minar and Mecca Mosque before heading off to the airport/railway station for the journey back home.
