About Mandawa:

The town of Mandawa located 190 kms away from Jaipur and 240 kms from New Delhi forms a part of the Shekhawati region that is famous for its opulent havelis. Built by fabulously rich Marwari merchants, many of whom made their fortunes during the 17-19th century when Mandawa was an important trading center, these homes with paintings, murals, and various other beautiful artifacts stand as a testament of their wealth and affluence.
