Day 1 : Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok (120 kilometers/4 hours drive)
Our representative will be there to receive you at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). Gangtok- the capital of Sikkim at an height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet is a land of adventure, mystic rituals & festivals.Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Full Day)
Afer an early breakfast, we leave for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir- a40 kilometers and 2 hours drive. Situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet,the Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep. The lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds.– Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir. Evening back to Gangtok to free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center.Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 3: Transfer to Lachen from Gangtok
After breakfast drive 135 kilometers leave for Lachen . Enroute have Lunch at Chungthang. Reach Lachen late afternoon / early evening. The snow capped peaks, the Shingbha wildlife sanctuary, Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley, Thangu are the major attractions of Lachen. Evening free to stroll and visit the Lepcha Village. Overnight stay at Lachen.
Day 4: Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Transfer to Lachung
Visit to Holy Sacred Gurudongmar Lake 55 kilometers( 3 hours drive). A valley at an altitude of 11, 800 feet through which Lachen Chu flows, it is generally covered with snow from December to April. Later drive through the cold desert till Tibet / China check post. Back to resort for lunch, post which we check out and drive to Lachung Lachung is about 50 kilometers or 2.5 hour drive. Check into hotel at Lachung. Evening free to visit Lachung Monastery. Overnight stay at Hotel at Lachung.
Day 5: Sight Seeing at Yumthang & Transfer to Gangtok
After breakfast drive towards Yumthang situated at an elevation of nearly 11800 feet. On the way you may visit the famous hot spring which is known for its curative properties of skin diseases .Yumthang is a valley near the river Lachung Chu surrounded by mountains. During spring, the valley turns into a riot of colors. Return to resort at Lachung for lunch and then transfer to Gangtok.Night stay at Gangtok.
Day 6: Gangtok Local Sightseeing (Half Day) & Transfer to Pelling
After breakfast, begin your half day Gangtok city sightseeing tours that comprises of a vist to Enchey Monastery, Barthang waterfalls, Nam Nang view point, Ropeway, Flower Show, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology & Do Drul Chorten (Stupa).etc. After lunch, drive120 kilometers /4.5 Hours drive to Pelling. Pelling is at an altitude of 6800 feet / 2072 meters.On a clear day guest can get a clear view of Himalayan range with snow capped mount Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Kanchenjunga, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, Sinolchu etc. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 7: Sight Seeing at Pelling (Full Day)
Begin sightseeing of Pelling after breakfast visiting places like Rimbi water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake, it is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true, Kechopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga water Falls, New Helipad, Rabdense Ruins & Kanchenjunga View tower etc . Evening free to roam around the helipad or Shopping center.Over Night stay at Pelling
Day 8: Transfer to Darjeeling
After breakfast ,transfer to Darjeeling(110 kilometers 4 hours drive) Darjeeling located at an height of 2123 meters is a land of breathtaking beauty. Known as the Queen of the hills, it is also home to the famous World Heritage train – The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR).Evening free to roam around Mall or local Shopping center. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 9 : Darjeeling Sunrise from Tiger Hill & Local Sightseeing ( Half Day )
Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather).On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop. Back to hotel for breakfast after which you will begin your half day city tour that includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed) etc. Evening free to stroll around the Mall area or Chowk Bazaar.Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 10 Transfer to Kalimpong & Kalimpong local sightseeing
Transfer to Kalimpong after breakfast. Kalimpong is about 70 kilometers or 2.5 hours drive from Darjeeling. Check into hotel and after some rest leave for sightseeing tour through scenic road to Forest Museum (Closed On Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr Graham Homes, Durbin Monastery, Mangaldham, Pine View Nurseries (Cactus Only). Back to Kalimpong Hotel .Evening free to roam around the any of the hundred nurseries or the Local market area. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 11: Departure –Kalimpong to Bagdogra/NJP
After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport which is 75 kilometers/ 2.5 hours drive .
