Full Day Chandigarh City Tour
Start your day with a visit to the beautiful Rose Garden, also known as Zakir Hussain Rose Garden. Spread over 30 acres, it is home to over 17,000 species of plants and 16,000 varieties of roses. Plus, you won't want to miss the annual Rose Festival held here annually in February or March. This will be followed by a visit to the Goverment Museum and art gallery- an architectural wonder designed by Le Corbusier which holds Gandhara period stone sculptures, Hindu sculptures, Miniature Paintings, Decorative arts and coins - all ready to be explored.
Next visit the famous Rock Garden. Also known as Nek Chand’s Rock Garden, it's a unique garden that is entirely made up of recycled and waste material. You will be amazed by the interlinked causeways, waterfalls, pottery, and sculptures of animals, dancers, and musicians. Along the way we will visit( pass by) some of the city's iconic buildings like the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Legislative Assembly, and Secretariat.You'll leave with a newfound appreciation for architect Le Corbusier who designed this beautiful city.
