Destination Covered: Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Bharatpur-Ranthambore National Park

This 7-day Golden Triangle Tour with Tiger Safari from New Delhi is best suited for those seeking to discover North India via its forts, palaces, and wildlife. This tour will be covering cities like Delhi famed for its Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, and Humayun Tomb; Agra for the fort and Taj Mahal; Jaipur for its city palace and Amer fort, the sanctuary of Bharatpur for its migratory birds(in winter months) and  Ranthambore National park for the royal Bengal tigers.

 

Day 1: Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and check-in at hotel. After check-in, explore the popular sights of Old and New Delhi - the Jama Masjid , India Gate and the President's residence. Overnight at Delhi

Delhi – Agra (225 kms / 04 hrs)

After breakfast ,visit to Rajghat (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial), Lotus temple (closed on Monday) Humayun Tomb and Qutab Minar - a UNESCO World Heritage site and the tallest brick minaret in the world, at 238 feet (72m) before heading off to Agra. After check in and some rest visit Agra Fort – another UNESCO World Heritage site that reflects an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural style.

Day 3: Taj Mahal – Ranthambore via Bharatpur

Visit the monument of love and UNESCO World heritage site Taj Mahal at sunrise (closed on Friday). Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we head off to the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur. Built by Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri is known for the Buland Darwaza and the tomb of the Sufi saint Salim Chisti. Reach Bharatpur, from where we will board a train to travel to Sawai Madhopur (2 hours) for Ranthambhore National Park .

Day 4: Ranthambore National Park

Today, we will spend the entire day at Ranthambore National Park. We will visit the park twice for a a meeting with the Royal Bengal Tiger, once in the morning after breakfast and later in the evening, when temperatures are at their coolest

Day 5: Ranthambore – Jaipur (180 kms / 03 hrs)

Enjoy your final game drive in the park this morning before a leisurely breakfast back at your hotel. After breakfast drive to the Pink City of Jaipur (180 kms in approx 03 hours). On arrival, check in to your hotel. This late afternoon you have the chance to explore the bazaars with your private guide - get behind the scenes of the local markets with the chance to meet local traders and artisans.

Day 06: Jaipur Local City Sightseeing

After breakfast, gain an insight into the fascinating city of Jaipur today on a private guided tour. Explore the Palace of the Winds, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and the impressive Amber Fort located 11km (6.8 miles) outside the city. Back at the hotel, you might like to watch the evening puppet show which is shown on certain days of the week.

Day 7: Jaipur-Delhi

Today drive back to Delhi, a journey of approximately five to six hours or if your flight/train is from Jaipur, then you will be dropped at the Jaipur railway station /airport
