Day 01: Arrival at Varanasi and Half Day Tour

Transfer to hotel post your arrival to rest and freshen up. Post lunch ,depart for a half day city tour to visit the famous & ancient temples of Varanasi including Kashi Vishwanath temple, & Kal Bhairav. Evening watch the spectacular Ganga Aarti at the ghats.

Day 2: Full Day Varanasi City Tour +Excursion to Sarnath

Embark on an early morning boat ride on the Ganges. During the boat ride you will get to witness the sunrise on the horizons as well as a insight into what makes Varanasi a favored spiritual destinations for people of all age and creed. We will also visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi via boat before heading back to the hotel for breakfast.

Post breakfast visit the Bharat Mata temple, Sankat Mochan(Hanuman temple) , Manas Mandir & Banaras Hindu University before heading for an excursion to Sarnath-the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The notable attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa , Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum.

Day 3: Varanasi - Prayagraj (4 hours)

After breakfast we head off for Prayagraj (Allahabad) to witness the confluence (sangam) of three important rivers of India- Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Look out for the point where the three rivers meet by observing the change in the water colors. While the waters of the river Ganga are muddy, pale-yellow those of Yamuna have a bluish tinge. As opposed to these two rivers,the Saraswati river flows underground and meets the two rivers at the confluence.

Prayagraj is important pilgrimage site for the Hindus where the Kumbha Mela (held every 12 years) and the Ardha Kumbha Mela (held every 6 years) takes place. During this time millions of pilgrims descend to this holy city inorder to take a dip at the Sangam and cleanse one's sins.

Evening back to hotel at Varanasi.

Day 4: Departure from Varanasi

After breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to schedule departure destination.
