Note:

1. All hotels in NE States India are non-star category except in Shillong & Guwahati

2. Guests with adventurous mind should travel Arunachal Pradesh.

3. Room heaters may not work in Arunachal Pradesh due to voltage fluctuations.

4. In this region there are no relevance between the distance and time travelling as it depends upon the conditions of roads and congestion of traffic.

5. Mobile services may not be active in all destinations. Pre-paid roaming and International roaming connection does not work in this region.

6. Credit Cards / Traveller’s cheque are not freely accepted.

7. Every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary, in view of local strikes, landslide etc., which are beyond our control all schedule and itineraries are subject to last moment changes and any additional cost, will be borne by the guests directly.

8.Tours to Arunachal Pradesh are not recommended for guests who have Heart /Asthma and Knee stress/ problem.

9.Woolen clothes, jacket is advisable to carry.

10.  For comfortable journey we advise carry limited luggage.

Note: All Indian Nationals require Inner Line Permit to visit Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh. To procure ILP permit we require Address Proof, Identity proof issued by Govt. of India (Not accepted doc is PAN card),  childbirth certificate or School Identity  card and 03 copies of Passport size photographs of every person. Day 01: ARRIVE GUWAHATI

Arrive Guwahati. On arrival check into hotel. Evening at leisure or if time permits, visit Kamakhya Temple situated in Nilachal Hill else go for Brahmaputra Dinner Cruise. Overnight at Hotel

DAY 02: GUWAHATI - SHILLONG

Today drive to Shillong (110 kms / 03 ½ hrs drive approx) after breakfast. Check in at hotel visiting en-route Barapani (Umium Lake). Later visit Ward’s Lake (closed on Tuesday), Don Bosco Museum (close on Sunday). Overnight in Shillong.

DAY 03: SHILLONG – MAWLLYNONG – DAWKI - SHILLONG

After early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong (110 kms/3 ½ hrs drive) Visit the Living Root Bridge. Locally known as 'Jingkieng Deingjri' which means 'bridge of the rubber tree,' this 53 ft long bridge is remarkable in that it is more than a 100 years old. Then drive to Dawki (India – Bangladesh Border). Late afternoon drive back to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

*It is advisable to carry have packed lunch to Mwallynong.

Day 04: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE – SHILLONG

After breakfast you will travel to Cherrapunjee – the wettest place on the earth En route visit the famous Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak – to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shillong city. At Cherrapunjee visit – Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah and Khrem Falls. Drive back to Shillong for overnight halt

Note: Most of the waterfalls are active in monsoon season only.

DAY 05: SHILLONG – DAY TRIP TO NONGKHNUM ISLAND

Full day excursion at Nongkhum Island (03 Hrs drive approx) Overnight at Shillong.

Day 06: SHILLONG – TEZPUR

After breakfast drive to Tezpur (300 kms / 7 hrs drive) check in hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07: TEZPUR – DIRANG

Today after breakfast drive to Dirang (180 kms / 08 hrs), enroute visit Orchid Center at Tipi and Sessa Orchid Sanctuary (blooming is from end March till May) At Dirang and visit Dirang Dzong and a Monpa village. Check into the hotel and overnight at Dirang

Day 08: DIRANG- TAWANG

Today after breakfast drive to Tawang (160 kms / 08 hrs), enroute you will visit Sella Pass and Sella Lake situated at an altitude of 13476 ft. Also visit Jaswant Ghar and before reaching Tawang visit the Nunarang fall. Reach Tawang and check into Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Tawang.

DAY 09: TAWANG

Today after breakfast visit Tawang Monastery ,Also visit Urgelling Monastery - the birth place of Sixth Dalia Lama. Ani Gompa, after a late lunch and refreshment visit Tawang War Memorial and evening at leisure. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 10: TAWANG –BOMDILA

After breakfast drive back to Bomdila. (195 Kms / 07 hrs drive). En-route visit Nurnang Water Fall, Monastery. Overnight stay at Bomdila. Overnight in Hotel

Day 11: BOMDILA– KAZIRANGA

After breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park (235 kms / 07 hrs). Reach Kaziranga check into hotel and overnight stay. Located in the in the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, the Kaziranga National park is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment.

DAY 12: KAZIRANGA NANTIONAL PARK

After breakfast enjoy the Park on the back of Elephant. After lunch we go for a jeep safari in the Eastern/Central range of the park to explore more inside the jungle. Evening visit tea garden and local villages. Overnight at Kaziranga.

DAY 12: KAZIRANGA-MAJULI

Early morning around 5.30am leave for Majuli with packed breakfast. Reach Nimatighat around 7.30am approx (120 kms) and then take a public ferry to Majuli. Separate Non AC vehicle will be used at Majuli for local sightseeing. Evening take a ferry (3.30pm) back to Nimatighat and then drive back to Kaziranga.

MAJULI - perhaps the largest river island is a treasure of cultural heritage of the region. The founder of ‘Eka Naam Dharma’ Srimanta Shankardeva took shelter in Majuli in the Fifteenth Century and ever since that Majuli has emerged as the crowning glory of Vaishnavaite culture in Assam. Majuli has a unique treasure of natural and cultural attractions. A melting point of various tribes, Majuli is multifaceted in its attractions that unfurls to its vanity are the rare migratory birds like Adjutant Stork, Pelican, Siberian Crane, etc., traditional handicrafts and pottery, the Mask – craft, ethnic culture and colorful festivals. At Majuli visit Kamalabari Satra, Garmur Satra and Auni Ati Satra. Evening drive back to Kaziranga for overnight halt.

DAY 14: KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI

After breakfast drive to Guwahati (250 kms/ 05 hrs drive). Local market. Overnight at Guwahati

DAY 15: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE

After breakfast check out and transfer to Guwahati airport for onward journey.
